Overview

The Applications Administrator will provide the Information Technology team with application support for our customer’s critical business systems.  This position will also be responsible for training and coaching customers on using their systems to maximize the value of the organization’s technology investments, and plays a key role in the IT commitment to delivering best-in-class technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide applications administration support for various business systems, including custom and SaaS software systems such as Intranet (SharePoint Online), Office Applications (Office 365), CRM (Salesforce), HRIS (ADP, Infor), Finance (Concur), IT Helpdesk (SolarWinds, Jira), BI/Reporting (Tableau) and others
  • Configure and customize application systems
  • Maintain user accounts, grant permission to applications, answer technical questions, and guide users to obtain optimal use of software
  • Assist with training users on new technology solutions and addressing general technical questions
  • Interact with third party technology vendors and internal technology staff
  • Use system configuration tools to implement or enhance business system processes
  • Generate system usage reports as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business preferred
  • Experience with Sharepoint, Office 365, & Salesforce highly preferred
  • Must possess strong computer skills including understanding of various business software
  • 2-3 years’ experience working with back-end, administrative aspects of business software, including user accounts, password, and other security controls
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Technical troubleshooting experience
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Basic understanding of CRM and databases
