Solutions Analyst

The Solutions Analyst works closely with business groups to identify opportunities to implement new technology solutions, including the design and development of custom applications, API integrations and off-the-shelf software products, to solve their business challenges. This role requires the ability to quickly understand business processes and to develop a range of solutions to improve business outcomes.  The Solutions Analyst will contribute to the development and implementation of new technology solutions with other members of the Technology organization, as well as gaining user adoption and providing technical support.


  • Develop a keen understanding of our customers’ business strategies and analyze and design innovative technology solutions to solve business challenges and improve back-end processes
  • Participate in discovery and user interview sessions with our customers to enable the delivery of workable solutions to support their business strategy with an IT component
  • Identify gaps in user experience with technology solutions, constructing training materials and hosting online meetings and webinars to help gain user adoption
  • Work with application development team, as well as project management and business analysis resources to identify solution alternatives, and present recommendations to stakeholders to gain buy-in
  • Provide technical training and advice to our customers to maximize our Office 365 collaboration environment
  • Develop business cases, best practice guides and other training materials


  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technology environment, preferably working with business analysts, UX/UI designers and software developers
  • Experience with various technologies, including SharePoint, CRM (Salesforce), rapid prototyping tools (Axure) and other software systems
  • Excellent analysis (qualitative/quantitative) and business writing skills
  • Proficient with MS Office toolset (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong Project Management discipline and a firm understanding of the software development process, particularly with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
  • A positive attitude and demonstrated ability to build relationships with multiple audiences and a dedication to providing excellent customer service
