  • Overview

    The Director of IT Operations will be an integral part of the Technology team, responsible for the day-to-day operations of a complex IT infrastructure, as well as working with the CIO to develop and implement long-term strategies. The role requires deep functional and operational knowledge of modern technology infrastructure and the ability to effectively lead a team of systems, security, network and cloud engineers.

    • In collaboration with the CIO develop the organization’s technical direction and create execution plans and strategies to implement
    • Lead a team of engineers in the development of high quality and resilient compute, storage and network solutions in a cloud-centric environment
    • Responsible for the usability, reliability, performance, security and support of the organization’s infrastructure
    • Drive multiple simultaneous projects, demonstrating strong leadership and project management and project delivery skills, using both internal resources and vendors to drive projects to completion
    • Competent in leading and managing high performing technical teams
    • Proven interpersonal skills with persuasive written and oral communications ability
    • Develop a team of results-oriented engineers


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related discipline preferred
    • 5+ years leading technical teams of 5 or more staff
    • Experience with cloud environments (AWS and Azure) required
    • Experience with Cisco Meraki networking infrastructure and Cloud Voice preferred
    • Experience supporting O365 required
    • Experience working with vendors and other consultants
    • Strong focus on operational excellence
    • Proven success in implementing and supporting modern technical systems
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
    • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • A positive attitude and an earnest interest in providing quality customer service
