    Cause of Action is an independent 501(c) (3) public interest group that uses public advocacy and legal reform tools to ensure greater transparency in government, protect taxpayer interests, and promote economic freedom.

     

    We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who always looks for ways to improve. People go to you to get things done because you’re effective at driving vision and have a keen eye for detail. You’re an excellent accountability partner for your teammates – the glue that holds the puzzle pieces together to reach ambitious goals.

     

    A solutions-based thinker, you’ll be a key player in building knowledge systems that enable the team to effectively measure progress, set priorities, and achieve goals. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to foster meaningful, long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

     

    Your ability to manage multiple projects will help the team make well-informed business decisions. With a strong dedication to customer success, you will be a key driver in providing optimal support to our team to better operationalize our mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day operations and long-term logistics planning to ensure all deliverables are tracked and completed in a timely fashion
    • Integrate, streamline, manage and champion software programs and document management systems to best leverage organizational resources
    • Train staff on best use of company software assets, serve as a continuing systems coach and provide ongoing support to ensure user adoption
    • Identify opportunities to improve business practices and knowledge systems, then follow through with a solutions based-approach to implement
    • Liaise with FPSS End User Support Team to maintain systems and troubleshoot IT issues
    • Manage relationships with existing and potential partners with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
    • Partner with Communications team to maintain website content and monitor audience reach
    • Research opportunities and implement best practices to improve services while lowering costs and increasing efficiency

    Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of related experience
    • Demonstrated ability to supervise a team with an emphasis on coaching and professional development

    • Experience supporting legal operations preferred
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism; proven ability to forge relationships and co-create projects
    • Enjoys working behind the scenes to help others innovate, and making connections between big ideas, people, and diverse strategies/projects
    • High degree of humility and integrity
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and high sense of urgency
